The Young Talent Platform and Art Sweet Art
The 7th edition of the art fair will introduce a renewed Young Talent launch platform dedicated to young and emerging artists. Three young curators from CAMPO – the curatorial course by Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, will present the rising stars of the future, for you to discover directly at the fair. Guest curators will be Gianpaolo Cacciottolo, and art critic and independent curator who live and works between Salerno and Naples, Elisa Torchio, the Communication and Valorization of Contemporary Artistic Assets graduate from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, and Alessandro Ferraro, the curator and art historian who lives and works in Genoa.
The art fair will also present Art Sweet Art, a platform designed by Laura Caruso and Saverio Verini and dedicated to setting up artist residencies in private homes. Proposing an alternative type of collecting where artists and buyers meet in the domestic space and work together to create a piece, the platform challenges the normal roles of the artist and patron.
