Jeanne Modigliani was an Italian artist, a daughter of Amedeo Modigliani, famous Italian painter, and Jeanne Hébuterne, a French artist and Modigliani’s muse. After the tragic death of her parents when she was only fourteen months old, Jeanne Modigliani was cared for by her maternal grandparents until her paternal aunt adopted her.
As an artist, Jeanne Modigliani panted abstract compositions. She is also known as a biographer of her father, writing the book Modigliani, man and myth, published in 1958.
Jeanne Modigliani died in 1984.
