Laurent Millet is a French photographer, who creates 3-D installations that serve as the subjects for his photographs. His objects are made of wire, tape, pins, and other household materials, sometimes installed on tables and chairs in a whitewashed studio and at other times in natural settings. Millet is interested in phenomenological doubt, exploring the playful ambiguity that results when three-dimensional installations are translated into two-dimensional images.
