As we enter the second half of July, many of us are enjoying in the sun, cold drinks and other summer’s advantages. However, not all of us have the opportunity to enjoy in seaside, beaches, surfing. Across Mediterranean – the heart of Europe’s summer destinations, millions of people are heading towards Greece, Spain, Italy, Malta, Portugal. And in many tourist destinations across the Mediterranean, a list of summer art events is being organized. So, even if you are on holiday, you can enjoy some amazing art events. For next week, we recommend Malta Street Art Festival, where you will be able enjoy in sun, beaches, summer atmosphere and amazing street art all in one place.

Yet, many people enjoy summer season in different locations. You do not have to be on seaside to enjoy nice weather, right? So, if we move north, to the United Kingdom, there is great news for street art lovers. De facto capital of street art – Bristol – is hosting one of the largest street art festivals this year. An event that should not be missed and a perfect place to be for all street art lovers! Over 250 selected artists from 25 countries are going to paint 28 venues in Bristol. Another great event is being organized – Art Southampton – an international modern, contemporary and design fair; and if you like plurality of artistic expressions, Southampton (New York) is a place to be next week. United Kingdom apparently is a center of main art events next week – the art event you shouldn’t miss takes place in London, at Beetles + Huxley Gallery, where amazing Italian artist Filippo Minelli has an exhibition. Finally, let’s move for a second to the United States again – Parlor Gallery from Asbury Park, NJ celebrates summer with group exhibition, entitled Summer Lovin’; a unique show with some nice street and pop art pieces.

Interesting week is ahead of us! Enjoy in summer and art, and be sure to visit at least one art event that begins this week!

Multi-layered works with mashed up textures of paint, photographs, stencils, graffiti and scraps of paper are what resonate in Indie184’s art. Alongside of her first appearance at Parlor Gallery, she will be painting a mural on the famous Asbury Park Boardwalk.
