The month of February was quite eventful for galleries around the world, full with exciting exhibitions and events. Since the art fair season is heating up, many galleries are keeping up with this busy calendar, showcasing the variety and diversity of their roster to the international audience. We are proud to see many of these galleries as part of our own ever-growing database of international art venues. There aren’t many surprises, as some galleries continue to find their place on our list. Still, there are some debutants, so be sure to check out our list! Imitate Modern - Featuring Edgy Art
A contemporary London art gallery with a difference, Imitate Modern is a place that is both edgy and friendly, both intimate and globally recognized. Situated in the historical heart of Mayfair, the gallery exhibits works by emerging artists from around the globe, working with mediums ranging from paintings and sculpture, to pop silkscreens and contemporary photography. From March 16th until March 27th, the gallery will host an exhibition of British artist, Luc Waring’s artworks. Titled Registered Trademarks, the exhibition explores how we, both as individuals and a society, have internally registered luxury branding through advertisements.

Urban Spree Gallery - An Urban Hotspot
A 400 sqm independent contemporary art space, Urban Spree Gallery is set in a vast postindustrial compound in the heart of Berlin. Working closely with street and graffiti artists, urban photographers, and contemporary artists, it promotes a grassroots artistic approach. The gallery also has their flagship “Artist Wall”, a wall surface facing Warschauer Str that has featured works by Above, Klone, Zevs, Broken Fingaz Crew, Twoone, among others. Until March 5th, the gallery is hosting a solo show by the artist Pablo Tomek. Titled Thank You Boss, the exhibition features around 5 large-format artworks and installations.

Fousion Gallery - The Place of Magic
Located in the heart of the historic Barcelona center, Fousion Gallery is a magic place that exhibits works of Pop Surrealism, Urban and Street Art, Illustrations and Indefinable Art Jewels. Founded in 2006, the gallery aims to provide a versatile exhibition and work space with contemporary values, while maintaining a nostalgic charm provided by its surroundings. The gallery has just returned from the first edition of Urvanity Art Fair in Madrid where they’ve exhibited works by sheOne, Miss Van, Bruno Pontiroli, Mono Cieza, Peca and Juan Jose Surace.

Corey Helford Gallery - Located in the Heart of the LA Art Community
Founded in 2006, Corey Helford Gallery represents a diverse selection of contemporary artists influenced by today’s pop culture, encompassing the genres of New Figurative, Pop Surreal, Graffiti and Street Art. Located in Downtown Los Angeles since 2015, the gallery continues to benefit the trend-setting exhibitions it hosts within the heart of the city’s art community. Until March 25th, the gallery is hosting the first exhibition in Los Angeles in over a decade from local visual artist Alex Gross. Titled Antisocial Network, the exhibition features the artist’s new body of work comprised of oil paintings, drawings, and mixed media cabinet card paintings.

ArtCan Gallery - Bringing Graffiti and Urban Art to Montpellier
Located in Montpellier, the ArtCan Gallery is focused on exhibiting works from Graffiti and Urban Art. Offers the most distinguished works of their kind, the vast majority of their pieces come directly from private collectors or directly from the artists’ personal collections. From March 11th until April 15th, the gallery will host a group show bringing together artists Rammellzee, Futura, Toxic, Babs and Medra. Titled Kandinsky Was My Roommate, the exhibition pays homage to this brilliant theoretician of form and color.

30works Cologne - Introducing Pop-Art of the 21st Century
A gallery that brings street art to Germany, 30works Cologne is one of the first German galleries to introduce the audience to “Pop-Art of the 21st century”. The gallery offers a top-class collection of pop art and street art masterpieces. Until March 4th, the gallery is hosting an exhibition titled Realism 3.0. The show presents a new generation of contemporary artists who explicitly focus on drawing and paintings as the essence of artistic expression.

Art Is Just a Four Letter Word - A Place For Urban Art
Located in Soest, Germany, art is just a four letter word is an urban art hotspot on a continental scale. The believe that art can be everything, that it is for everyone, that it shouldn’t be taken too seriously, and is different just like the people who experience it. Until March 18th, the gallery is hosting a solo show of the urban artist Mason. Titled For Your Eyes Only, the exhibition will feature the latest body of work by this prolific artist who is best known for his affinity for a graphic style with geometric traits and for typographic constructions.
