After the Spring edition, the Affordable Art Fair Battersea comes back for its Autumn episode as well. This incredible event is a touring one, having already started their fall season in New York from September 10th through 13th, Seoul from 11th through 13th, Bristol from 18th through 20th and Stockholm from October 1st through 4th. Now, it’s time for London and Battersea once again, where 110 international galleries will showcase works by 1,100 names, both established and emerging. A perfect place to find everything from paintings and prints to sculpture and photography, all priced between £100 and £5,000. Apart from this, there will also be the annual Recent Graduates’ Exhibition, featuring 22 upcoming talents selected from the UK’s arts schools. The Spring 2016 event is coming up from 10th to 13th March, but until then, let us revisit what’s in store during Autumn.

Recent Graduates’ Exhibition

Twenty two talented young creatives will have the amazing opportunity to show their work at a highly visited event such as the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea. Curated by Jessica Hall and Emma Mansell, the show aims to spotlight the latest trends and styles in contemporary arts world of today. Coming from prestigious art schools in the UK, such as the Royal College of Art or Central Saint Martins, these artists will bring artworks ranging from collage, fine art painting and drawings to prints and sculptures.

Participating Galleries and Art Under £500

Exhibiting at this year’s Affordable Art Fair Battersea, there will be 110 spaces from many UK cities, most of them from the capital, but also the US, France, the Netherlands, Spain, South Korea and Canada. Apart from regular exhibiting spaces, there will be many print making workshops, art-selling shops, such as London’s Curious Duke, photography galleries, jewellery and crafts stores, and many more.

As it is Affordable Art Fair, there will also be many original artworks priced under £500. Among them, there will be a Ryan Callanan’s Reservoir Dogs Storm Troopers silkscreen print, offered at £450 by TAG Fine Arts. Duo STATIC will have a screen print of Audrey Hepburn at £75 offered by Jealous Gallery, as well as Bill Butcher’s pigment print called Henley, also for £450 at The Art Movement. If you’re not into prints, there will also be a selection of paintings, etchings and even small sculptures. There will also be a section dedicated to landscapes, figures and faces, shapes, colors and forms, as well as animals.

Affordable Art Fair Battersea – Practical Visitors Information

The Battersea stage of the Affordable Art Fair will be held at Battersea Evolution in London, UK, from October 22nd through 25th, 2015. A Charity Private view is scheduled for October 21st from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. On October 22nd, the venue opens at 11am, with Late View from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Opening ours are from 11am to 6pm on Friday and 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket prices range from £25 for Charity Private View, £20 for Late View, £10 for Adult weekday ticket (£12 at the door), £12 for Adult weekend (£15 at the door), £8 for Concessions (for over 60s, full time students, and those in receipt of jobseekers allowance or income support) weekday (£10 at the door), £10 for Concessions weekend (£13 at the door).
