Cam Wong is a contemporary artist from Hong Kong, who was born in 1983 in Hong Kong. Her work focuses on the paradox of existence and disappearance. Her creation emerges from emptiness, and eventually, returns to it. The artist works in a variety of media.
She attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she obtained her BA in Fine Arts in 2006. In 2013, she participated in two Artist in Residence programs in Hong Kong. So far, Cam Wong has won two awards for her work.
Wong exhibited her works in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Hong Kong, and internationally; in Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and China. In 2015, she participated in the Back To The Future group show at The Cat Street Gallery in Hong Kong. Her work is featured in the permanent collections of Kuandu Museum of Fine arts in Taipei, Taiwan; and Instituto Cultural do Governo da R.A.E.de Macao in Macau.
