Ok, I know it's so damn corny to quote somebody just to describe yourself, let alone Confucius, but this quote says all about my relationship with Widewalls, so forgive me for doing this: Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. Am I forgiven?

Enrique Metinides is a Mexican photographer of Greek origins. He has been capturing the world around him ever since he was a child and his father gave him a camera. In the beginning, he was fascinated with shooting staged scenes from popular action movies and car crashes. Metinides continued to develop his artistic language in that direction so he retired in 1997 as well known crime photographer. His work capturing themes such as crime scenes, car crash, and natural catastrophes gained him recognition in the art world and won him numerous awards.
