Georg Herold is a German artist, is best known for his installations, sculptures and angular human figures made of simple, everyday materials, which show the influence of Arte Povera and Joseph Beuys.
Herold studied under Sigmar Polke in the late 1970s and had alliances with Werner Büttner, Albert Oehlen and Martin Kippenberger in the 1980s.
