George Lappas is an Egyptian visual artist who was born in 1950. George Lappas has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and at the DESTE Foundation, Centre for Contemporary Art. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including ‘Red Equilibrist’ sold at Sotheby’s London ‘The Greek Sale’ in 2010 for $31,868.
