Geso is an American born graffiti artist and abstract painter whose legacy spans over 2 decades. Starting his career in the upswing of the 1990’s San Francisco graffiti scene, Geso quickly made a name for himself and perfected styles that have become some of the most respected and bitten over the years. To stay ahead of the curve he has innovated and evolved in ways that have kept his graffiti fresh and inventive. His work feels like a modern continuation of Rothko or Still or many other great historic abstract works.

The balance and use of color in his paintings are mature and well executed. Geso’s pieces are rich in DIY materials, pointing to their graffiti origins, but aesthetically giving out a different result filled with bright, vibrant color and free informal solutions.

In his work Geso has always pushed the boundaries and has been such an innovator over the years. He has consistently stayed far ahead of most within the art form, with impeccable vision and that has gone unmatched.

He currently lives and works in San Francisco.
