Hector Poleo was a Venezuelan painter. Graduated in the Academy of Fine Arts of Caracas, obtained a scholarship to study painting in Mexico, where he received the influence of the artists of social Realism; Among them, Diego Rivera. In the early forties, he traveled the Andean region. Within its works of this period, it emphasizes the three commissioners (1943), of eminently social character.
