Jannik Abel is a Norwegian artist who works with painting and graphics, as well as installations and art in public spaces. She has a close connection to the city and much of her idiom related to the urban. As a graphic artist, she works with different techniques in screen printing and lithography and mixes this with other techniques, including photography, painting, and collage. Her motives vary from the detail of the cityscape, like the famous One Way Street signs from the United States, to buildings, building structures and the use of language that is prevalent within the street art.
