Judith Lauand is a celebrated Brazilian Neo-Concrete Artist, one of the early members of the Grupo Ruptura, and the only one who was a woman. Her successful demonstration of postwar Concretism led in the following decades to further experimentations, with figural and popular representation, assemblage, and optical color contrasts.
