Alias of Jasmina Sevic, a researcher and author for Widewalls. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science (Department for Journalism) in Belgrade in 2013.

Mia Dudek in a London-based photographer born in 1989, in Poland. She got BA in photography from London College of Communication in 2012, and MA in photography from Royal College of Art, London, in 2014.

In her work Mia Dudek touches upon existential encounter of the body within the European tradition of metaphysical speculation, in an understated political, ideological and ofter biographical context. The often private and intimate scale of her work explores a global phenomena of urbanisation, overpopulation and therefore, alienation of an individual. Through concentrated moments of assimilating herself to the surroundings, Mia Dudek is interested in Kafka’s idea of home specifically designed prison for everyday existence, as well as Lynchian machinery of living or threat.

Her series although very different, all have one mutual and strong concern – brutality, violence and power of the architecture, representing hermetic exteriors and their horizons endlessly bounded.
