Simon Schrikker is best known for is his dog paintings in thick layers of oil. And more recent squids, sharks mouth’s and seascapes. Always looking for the unpredictable moment where the material meets the subject and camp becomes suspense. Lately, the layers of oil paint are traded in for thin watercolors on paper.
