Between 1996 and 2002, Stefan Mannel studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildende Künste in Stuttgart, the Copper Union in New York and at the Städelschule in Frankfurt. Through his art Mannel achieves to capture controversial and complex notions such as reality and delusion or hope and despair. Stefan Mannel has exhibited in various art institutions from 2002 until today, including Galerie Michael Haas in Berlin, Kunsthalle Dominikanerkirche Osnabrück and Galerie Andreas Höhne, Munich. He currently lives and works in Frankfurt, Germany.
