Boaz Sides better known as Untay born 1983 is an Isreali multidisciplinary artist, graduated with honors from the department of Visual Communication at the Holon Institute of Technology. Sides is an active member of different groups and projects in the Israeli street and alternative art scene, inspired mainly by the everyday life surrounding him and significant social events in the local and global field.

According to Boaz he started to work as an artist since 2010 for no specific reason but for the love of art. He showed his first solo exhibition in June 2013 at “Hakir Bahashmal Gallery” and was a partner / participated in the large scale alternative exhibition “Base Colors” in Kiryat Shmona, in northern Israel. Untay’s last solo exhibition “Wake Up” presents 20 paintings made only on used vinil albums covers and inspired by his favorite songs and albums that was his inspirations during the last years.

Untay’s works are created in mixed media: pencils, acrylics, pastels, wall paints, charcoal, watercolors, and more, without adhering to any particular technique. The choice of artistic method depends on the situation and concept in order to serve the message most effectively. The works typically appear to be a combination of a “sketch” and a “finished painting” look and feel.
Untay transposes his work in multiple formats and uses different techniques of painting and drawing and combining acrylic paint spray through acrylic. A variety of mediums that gives his work a unique appearance.

His future plans are to travel and paint walls all over the world.
