William Pettet is an American contemporary artist known for experimenting with alternative painting techniques, going from Minimalism to Abstract Expressionism. He began his career in Los Angeles in the 1960s, experimenting with the emerging Minimalist style, before moving to New York in 1969, where he adopted Abstract Expressionism.
