Aldo Chaparro is a
Mexican/Peruvian contemporary artist whose work focuses on sculpture and
architecture, exploring the spatial and architectural richness. He explores
form through the void, matter, and the human body, using quick processes to
transform prefabricated materials into unique objects. By manipulating and
subtracting matter, he creates forms in balance, utilizing elements commonly
used for construction. Aldo Chaparro currently lives and works between Mexico
City, Los Angeles, Madrid, and Lima.
