Andrew Prokos is an American fine art photographer whose works incorporate architectural elements and sweeping natural and urban views. A master of long-exposure technique, he utilizes times of up to ten minutes to capture his subjects. Possessing an ethereal quality, the works are detached from the world as we see it. Prokos has been experimenting recently – for example, in his series Inverted, the negative imagery is used to convey a bold new vision of space. His photographs of New York and other locations around the world are composed of numerous meticulously-captured high-resolution images. The works have an astonishingly intricate level of detail and are printed in large-format. Andrew Prokos lives and works in New York City.
