Born in Sabadell, Barcelona,
Antoni Taulé is a Spanish contemporary painter, architect, and performer. He
studied architecture at Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona
(ETSAB), graduating in 1970. After studies, he worked as an architect for
several firms. Arguably, Taulé is best known for painting classical empty
buildings and interiors – monumental spaces that fuse reality and fiction under
the fleeting atmosphere of light. Besides painting, the artist is also working
in photography, once again combining interiors with superb usage of light,
creating mesmerizing artworks. Antoni Taulé lives and works in Paris.
