Daria Semenova is a Russian contemporary artist known for her paintings. She completed her studies at Moscow State Academy Art Institute in 1983. A year later, she presented the “Portrait of Olga Semenova” (the artist’s sister) at the Exhibition of Russian Painting in Paris, winning the Silver Medal from the Salon of French painters. Her preferred medium is oil on canvas. She is the great-granddaughter of Peter Konchalovsky and great-granddaughter of Vasily Surikov, while her father is the Russian writer Julian Semenov. Daria lived most of her life in London but returned to Russia in the 2000s, settling in Moscow.
