David Shrobe is an American
contemporary painter best known for his unique portraits. He received both MFA
and BFA in painting from Hunter College and is an alumnus of the Skowhegan
School of Painting and Sculpture, and was a Joan Mitchell Artist Teaching
Fellow. Shrobe lives and works in New York City.
