Giovanni Gastel is an Italian photographer known for his unique style, characterized by poetic irony and well-balanced compositions. Introduced to photography in the 1970s, he immediately enamored with it. The turning point in his career came in 1981 when he met Carla Ghiglieri, who became his agent, introducing him to the fashion world. Gastel went on to work for famous magazines in Italy, such as Annabella, Vogue Italia, Mondo Uomo, and Donna, as well as other prestigious fashion magazines abroad.
