Born in Casablanca, Morocco, José Nicolas is a photographer and photojournalist who has been living in France since he was ten years old. Arguably, his most notable works come from a 12-year period during which he worked for Sipa-Press agency in Paris, covering many conflicts around the world – Chad, Liberia, Bosnia, Afghanistan, the Romanian Revolution, Bosnia, and Somalia. Today, José Nicolas lives in Normandy and has devoted himself to more personal work.
