Katrine Claassens is a South African painter whose works reflect her interests in climate change, deep ecology, urban ecology, and internet memes. Aside from her artistic practice, she has worked as a climate change communicator at the African Climate & Development Initiative at the University of Cape Town and environmental organizations in Canada. Claassens currently lives and works in Montreal.
