June 16, 2020

After experimenting with painting and engraving, the Italian artist Mauro Staccioli finally embraced sculpture in the 1960s. He focused on the relationship between art and society, developing his original idea of a sculpture that is intrinsically related with the place - both in its physical and social connotations - in which and for which it was created.
