Paul Winstanley

Photorealism

February 13, 2013

Paul Winstanley is a London-based painter, whose realistic paintings emerge from the photographs he takes and then redesigns entirely by removing parts and details. The main subject of his works are semi-public spaces, as he likes to call them - waiting rooms, lobbies, hospitals, and airports - the interiors that never quite become personal or even liked by the most of us.
