Salvatore Scarpitta

Salvatore Scarpitta was an American artist celebrated for his sculptural renderings of objects in motion. Born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1919, he graduated from Hollywood High School, and then attended the premier art university in Europe, the Academia di Belle Arti in Rome.
