Tadaaki Kuwayama is a Japanese artist initially inspired by a traditional Japanese nihonga painting, just to become a prominent representative of Color Field and Minimalism - upon his moving to NY in the 60s. He experimented with titanium, aluminum, Mylar and Bakelite.
