Thomas Nozkowski

Thomas Nozkowski was an American painter, whose method was predicated on relinquishing the idea of an end result. Drawing inspiration from patterns and shapes in the environments around him, Nozkowski’s work is characterized by vivid color, an accumulation of geometrical and organic shapes, and experimentation with the figure-ground relationship.
