Grace Jones began her career as a model, working for fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent and Kenzo and appearing on the covers of Elle and Vogue. She began her music career as a star of the Studio 54 disco scene. Her distinctive androgynous appearance, bold features, and subversive antics made her an influential figure of the 1980s.
Jerry Hall is a model and the former partner of Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. By 1977, when Hall was 21 years old, she had appeard on 40 magazine covers including Italian Vogue and Cosmopolitan.
