Considered by many to have invented the modern-day discotheque, Regine is a former nightclub manager and owner. She is known for founding her celebrated nightclub Chez Regine in Paris, which expanded to 25 countries around the world. She moved to New York City in the 1970s, where she opened a nightclub at the Delmonaco Hotel. Work is framed to archival standards by Handmade Frames of Brooklyn, New York. Stamped on verso by Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Foundation number also on verso.Framed Dimensions: 11 x 10.5 in.
