Starting in the 1960's Andy Warhol would carry a camera with him obsessively. Warhol would capture his life through the lens documenting his personal life and the ongoings from his studio, The Factory. His polaroids were the basis of many of his silkscreens, drawings and paintings. Warhol referred to his polaroid camera as his 'pencil and paper'.
