Contemporary quilt by Welsh artist Bethan Ash. Bethan is a well published artist and her quilts have been exhibited Internationally and are in Several Museums in the USA including Museum Of Art And Design in New York. Statement: Every so often I have a break from working with strong, vibrant colours. The fabrics used in this quilt come from 1930’s satin Viscose bedspreads, to create soft muted colours I have over dyed, resist and discharged with Procion MX dye and household bleach. This piece is my ‘Interlude’ from using vibrant colours and represents a pause in time. Size: h: 123cm x w: 138cm 48.5" x 54.5"
