In preparation for his solo exhibition, 'David Hockney: A Bigger Picture', at the Royal Academy of Arts in London in 2012, David Hockney spent months drawing changes in the East Yorkshire landscape from winter to summer on an iPad. By the time his exhibition opened, he had created over 100 iPad drawings, 51 of which were printed on paper and included in the exhibition alongside his larger paintings.
