Invitation is a sculpture by contemporary French artist Delphine Brabant from the 'Human Being' series. Amongst the works of this series, marked by a wide variety of materials (bronze, resin, plaster, terra-cotta) and styles, this sculpture is more figurative than abstract. The elongated forms emerging from the substance immediately have one thinking of human silhouettes, all stuck together in a compact crowd. The artist is looking for a verticality, erecting 'forests' of beings, slender and enigmatic, assembling and merging. "Human being" series
