This poster titled "Symphony in Black," was published by Grosvenor Gallery for Erte's London Exhibition in 1967. It is the artist's very first poster ever produced, signed by Erte, which makes this a wonderful collectible commemorating the historic event. A very limited supply of these posters were set aside and signed by Erte at the time of publication. Now over 40 years old and no longer in print, this piece is extremely rare.

ERTE (1892-1990) Born Romain de Tirtoff in imperial St. Petersburg, Russia, Erte derived his pen name from the French pronunciation of his initials "R.T." Over a long and distinguished career, he had a major influence on the style and design of the 20th Century. His achievements earned him the title "Father of Art Deco."
