With time, the artist’s style gradually drifted towards abstraction. He has acquired a distinctive method of compressing the rich colour and form of his environment into complex landscape paintings that infuse material reality with a deep sense of place. He combines colours using colloquial techniques, in a bid to arrive at a style that is entirely contemporary.
