The work is part of a series of wall-reliefs combining natural and man-made materials. The contrasting haptic quality, as well as different materials, are an integral part of Henrik Eiben's practice. Hidden accents of colour further shift the perception of the work. The piece is part of a small series of linear works, each composed of a limited number of elements, in this instance two elongated triangular forms: one hollow the other solid. Their visual and physical weight stand in opposition, lending the sculpture an animated appearance, that is elevated by the modulated shadows, reflecting hidden shades of colour.
