Herman Normoid begins to paint in his full maturity, immediately reaching high levels, especially in informal and neo-expressionist painting. In 2007 he founded the current called Volumism, and edited the Manifesto.
Being reserved, he chose to present himself only through a logo and a motto - 'Proud to be Obsolete' - which denounces his ironic spirit and great respect for the art of the past masters.

Herman Normoid works mainly with pure pigments and large spatulas trying to minimize the effect of the conscious part of his mind by freeing the subconscious part. His technical challenge is to make human features with large flat spatulas that do not allow any type of detail control.; In his latest production Normoid creates ancestral graffiti apparently made by dozens of different hands as if poured into a temporal and spatial funnel.
