Over the course of Creten's nearly four decades-long practice, he has been a pioneer of modern ceramics. The artist began working with clay in the late 1980s, and has since developed an innovative sculptural practice that includes a range of materials, including bronze, aluminum, and glass. Later this year, Villa Medici in Rome will survey the artist's work in an exhibition titled "I Peccati'" and Perrotin will present an exhibition of the artist's latest series.
