Each work in this series begins as digital drawing of a geometric shape. De Haan then takes a single photograph of the shape, and while the shutter is open he either moves the camera or manipulates the zoom lens.
The resulting motion creates dimension, depth and kinetic sensations in the final image. Each shape is only photographed once. That choice leaves open endless possibilities that could have been, of choices not made and photographs not taken.
