Serendipity is an abstract sculpture by the French contemporary artist Romain Langlois. This patinated bronze sculpture takes the heterogeneous form of an exploded rock whose different pieces are linked to an apparently liquid heart in the inner part of the rock. This dynamic work tends towards the surrounding space. While its shape is open to the surrounding space, its black colour leans towards the inner part of the sculpture and invites the viewer to restore his balance. The artist is toying with the ability of the viewer's mind to conceive ideas and to self-represent them.
