Rising Chinese photographer Ye Wenlong spends extended periods of time each winter deep in the famed Huangshan "Yellow" Mountains waiting patiently for the right conditions. Using creative lighting techniques to illuminate moments of heavy snowfall, the photographer captures graphically powerful landscapes that are equally meditative and mysterious. Born in Wenzhou, Wenlong is a self-taught photographer and now lives and works in Taizhou, Zhejiang. He produces his images using a medium format system without the aid of any post-production and is widely exhibited across China.
