We begin with a piece by an international graffiti star Ben Eine. His piece Love from 2008 is a reflection of the artist recognizable style, echoing the devotion to the artist’s particular aesthetics. The piece is executed with the medium of spray paint and stencil on paper. It is signed and dated in pencil, lower center and numbered AP 2/3 in pecil lower right. The piece (lot 132) is expected to reach a price somewhere between €1 200 and €1 500.

Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Claudio Ethos

Next piece to look out for is an artwork by Brazilian artist Claudio Ethos. The piece is a spray paint on canvas, signed in black paint lower left. The price is estimated to be €1 000 with the highest estimated price of €2 000. This piece’s lot is 37A.

Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Hush

Under the lots 29 and 70, we have inspiring works by British designer and street artist Hush. His Femme fatale, 2013, which is piece executed by the mediums of acrylic, screenprint, spray paint and screen inks on linen. It is signed and dated in black ink on the lower right side and with an certificate of authenticity from Lazarides. The price is estimated to be reach the value between €6 000 and €8 000. The second piece by Hush, titled Rogue I (lot 70) from 2013 is estimated to reach the same price as the previous piece. It is an acrylic, screenprint, spray paint, screen inks on Belgium linen, signed and dated in black ink on the lower right side. This piece is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Lazarides.

Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Antony Micallef

Lot 113 is reserved for an inspiring piece by British artist Antony Micallef. The piece Study of A Head 1 from 1999 is a oil on board by one of the most interesting contemporary painters of the younger generation. It is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Woodbine Cottage Gallery, Lincolnshire and estimate to reach a price between €2 000 and €3 000.

Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Bast

Urban art lovers who admire the art of wheat pasting will surely be attracted to lot 156. Papa Smurfs 4 piece from 2008 by American artist Bast is executed by the power of mixed media, on canvas and it is signed and dated in black ink on the back. It is accompanied by a certificate from Leonard Street gallery, London and estimated to reach the price between €1 500 and €2 500.

Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Todd James

A piece titled I’m Happy In My Work from 2010 is an artwork by Todd James. Lot 88 will be an interesting bidding opportunity for contemporary art lovers who are drawn to a visual language of reduced aesthetics. The piece, realized by acrylic and pencil on paper, is signed and dated in pencil on the lower right. Estimated value for this Todd James gem is expected to reach the price as high as €5 000, but not lower than €3 000. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Alice Gallery, Belgium.

For all of those of you who are excited by the offer concerning street art’s Robin Hood, there are five lots reserved for the notorious Banksy’s work. Two of the works are from 2010 and three of them dating eleven years back. So let’s begin. Lot 11 is reserved for Choose Your Weapon – Dark Purple – AP from 2010. It is a silkscreen printed in colors, signed in purple crayon on the lower right and numbered AP 17, published by Pictures on Walls, London, on wove paper with full margins. It is estimated to reach a price somewhere between €15000 and €20000. Lot 44 is occupied by another Banksy piece from 2010. Choose Your Weapon – Magenta is a silkscreen printed in colors, signed in pink crayon on the lower right, numbered 4/25 and published by Pictures on Walls, London, on wove paper, with full margins. There is a same price estimate for this piece as for the previous one. Love Is In The Air – AP from 2003, also a silkscreen printed in colors, signed in pencil lower right, numbered AP/03 was published by Pictures on Walls, London, on wove paper, with full margins. This Banksy artwork is estimated to reach a price as high as €22000. The second piece from 2003, Angry Crows is surely an interesting opportunity for collectors. Lot 57 – Angry Crows – is a spray paint and stencil on canvas, signed with artist tag in red on overlap and signed, dated and inscribed in black ink on the back: “Steve. Thanks a lot. You’d look good in a suit.” This piece is accompanied by a letter from Lazarides Gallery stating that “Angry Crows original by BANKSY was purchased from LAZARIDES Rathbone Place on 28th Feb 2011.” This art piece is estimated to reach a price between €60 000 and € 80 000. Finally, lot 64 is reserved for Happy Choppers, an artwork from 2003. A silkscreen printed in colors is signed and numbered AP/08 in pencil on lover right and published by Pictures on Walls, London, on wove paper, with full margins. It is estimated to go as high as €15 000. This piece, just like all of Banksy artworks in this auction are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Pest Control Office.

Next up, the art loving public will have a chance to acquire a piece by the talented Deedee Cheriel, This year’s piece by the artist is potent with fairytale elements. Lot 27 with the artwork titled That Where There is Discord I May Bring Harmony is an acrylic, spray paint and mixed media on wood panel and signed in pencil. This interesting piece is estimated to go for the price as high as €3 000.

Digard Auction Dec. 14th: The Date Farmers

There is never a dull moment with the Mexican-American duo Date Farmers. Playboy Bunny piece from 2007 is an interesting mixture of the wide methodological range by the artists. This piece, occupying lot number 17 is an oil and paper collage on corrugated metal. The estimated price is expected to reach a price between €1 800 and €2 200. Lot number 103 represents a quite interesting opportunity for collectors. The very talented Phil Frost is known for his urban installations, work with found objects, but also for a particular aesthetics which is embodied in a unique expression. The untitled piece form 2007 is a paradigm for the creative practice of Phil Frost. With a price estimated between €3 000 and €5 000, this lot will be hard to resist. Next up, we divert your attention to lots 134 and 135. American artist of a younger generation with a hidden identity Above is represented by two pieces, each estimated to go as high as €900. Flèche James Dean (recto verso), 2012 (lot 134) is a collage on wood, signed and dated in black ink on the lower center on both sides. Coming from the field of film industry, the experience of contemporary artist Schoony is almost immeasurable when it comes to sculptural work. Boy soldier, a piece from 2012 (lot 90) is a representation of the artist capabilities and devotion to detail. Lots 114, 115 and 117 are reserved for the melancholy infused art of Sage Vaughn. His Untitled piece from 2007, a mixmedia on canvas on board is expected to reach a price between €1 000 and €2 000. The same high price is expected for lot 115, a piece titled Owl. The piece is estimated to go for a price somewhere between €1 500 and € 2 000. Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Damien Hirst

The auction is bringing three pieces by international urban art superstar Damien Hirst. All artworks resonate the recognizable artist’s aesthetics, one of them being a skate deck. The Valium piece from 2000 (lot 78) is a lambda print in colors, signed in felt tip pen and numbered 180/500. It is on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional paper. The piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Eyestorm, London and expected to reach the lowest hammer price of €6 000 and the highest of €8 000. The piece titled Spin Painting is Damien Hirst’s work from 1995 and it is acrylic on paper, signed in pencil verso. It was created for War Child at an event at the Saatchi Gallery in London by the artist. The expected price is estimated to reach a number between €3 000 and €5 000. Finally, lot number 171 is a skate deck with the artist’s recognizable imagery. the piece is titled Supreme skate deck (Spot), from 2009, and it is a silkscreen printed in colors on skate deck. Lot 9 is the result of the creative expression by VinZ Feel Free. The social and political commentator has created an inspiring piece this year, entitled Fracking: Cupyd and Psyche in oil. One of the street artists to emerge from the famous Bristol graffiti scene – Nick Walker –  is represented by lots 12 and 166. Lot 165 is an interesting piece by the French artist Jef Aerosol, titled Chuuuttt, from 2011. the silkscreen printed in colors on three skate decks is signed on the lower right and numbered 22/30. It is dated on the back side. One of the most exciting skate deck pieces of the auction, the artwork is expected to reach the highest price of €700, thus being something to think about for collectors this December.

Lots 13 and 155 are represented by an interesting aesthetics and symbology. Both of the pieces by Clet Abraham are expected to reach a hammer price somewhere between €1 500 and €2 000. Be sure to check out lots 33, 36, 68 and 84 for the work by Rammellzee, a child of the New York street art scene. Rammellzee (who died in 2010, age 50) was a graffiti writer, performance artist, rap/hip-hop musician and sculptor. First up, we point your attention to Ikonoklast Panzerism letter “B” (1987) piece. A mixed media on heavy card, signed, titled and dated in pink verso piece which is estimated to reach a hammer price as high as €8000. Equation Note ! Namid Foe, Rare Square (1986) piece is a spray paint and mixed media on canvas, which was signed and titled in red ink verso. Estimated price €8000 – €12000 (provenance: Collection Henk & Leonie Pijnenburg, Deurne, Pays-Bas). A piece titled Ikonoklast Panzerism Mettropposttersizer, from 1984 is a mixed media on canvas and signed, titled and dated in black ink verso. The expected price for this piece is to reach a value between €12 000 and €15 000. C215 is one of the most respected stencil and graffiti artists working today. His portraits represent a unique experience, and are a reflection of a basically singular visual language. During the auction, collectors will have a chance to acquire one of the pieces by C215, including two portraits and two sculptures. First up, we turn your attention to lot number 1 and an untitled piece from 2008. This stencil spray paint on wooden board, signed with artist stamp upper right is estimated to reach a price somewhere between €1 800 and €2 500. Another spray paint and stencil on wood, signed with artist stamp lower right, titled Le Regard (lot 18) is estimated to reach a price between €5 000 and €7 000. Lot 105 is a true gem for all collectors who are street art admirers . The piece titled Casque d’or, estimated price: 8 000 – 12 000 €, is a spray paint and stencil on metal Post Office letter box, signed four times with artist’s stamp. Digard Auction Dec. 14th: Pure Evil

The British born artist Pure Evil, started building his career as a designer who found a base in San Francisco. The 21st century brought him back to the island and ever since “Pure Evil” has been developing as a brand, but also as a symbol for a talented street artist. The pieces included in this exhibition prove the artist’s devotion to a wide range of methodology. Therefore, we divert your attention firstly on lot number 4, a piece tiled Frank Sinatra’s Nightmare – Vertigo Ava, Blue from 2014, estimated to reach a price between €1 800 and €2 500. This is an acrylic on canvas, signed, titled, dated and numbered 2/10 in black ink verso. Another piece, expected to reach the same high price is titled You Can’t Buy Happiness Steal It, 2014 (lot 19). It is an acrylic inks on canvas, signed in blue acrylic ink lower right, signed, dated and inscribed “Live Painting Paris Drouot” in blue acrylic ink verso. This work was produced during the live performance at the Espace Pierre Cardin, Paris, 3rd June 2014. Finally, lot 89 brings us the recognizable Pure Evil’s neons.
