The Crystal Ship Embellishes Dendermonde! Images of Murals by Henrik Haven
The Belgian city of Dendermonde has become 5 murals richer, thanks to The Crystal Ship makers!
The esteemed street art festival employed six internationally renowned artists to use the city as canvas and create large-scale works as well as some 20 colorful interventions, as part of the Kaleidoscope project.
Among the participants, we have the Low Bros duo, made up of Berlin-based Christoph and Florin Schmidt, who created a fun abstract piece; UK’s David Walker, known for his portraits of women, one of which now graces the entire facade of a building; local artist Jaune, with his garbage men in fluorescent uniforms which can now be found all over town; Oli-B, also a Belgian creative, whose colorful artwork goes perfectly with the brick wall it was painted on; Joachim, whose enigmatic character calls for a discussion on consumerism; and finally Joëlle Dubois, who has tackled our obsession with social media.
Thanks to our contributor Henrik Haven, we now have a photo-recap live from the spot, so make sure you check them out below!
