Whistler Contemporary Gallery has selected to present a range of collage artists. You can find artworks from Jay Kelly, Steli Christoff, Andre Monet and John Joseph Hanright. Since collage has been an artistic tool to tell stories in a poetic form without emphasizing a specific event; It allows the viewer to find their own story. Furthermore, when printed images are torn, when textures confront, when artifacts are assembled together when ideas collide, there’s always something grandiose happening, the edification of a new world. It goes way beyond paper and ink, and I like it.
