Annabelle Tattu is a French multidisciplinary artist who redefines the codes of the street to impose her unique style – urban art brut.
Her dreamlike and fantastic universe is built from the dialogue that the artist establishes with her characters. She gives them life, creating their stories, multiplies and transforms while they invade her mind and her space; formed of impulsive traits they seem like their own guide. Tattu’s works express the mood of the times, and in the manner of benevolent spirits come alive to meet their mission, to protect those who commit dialog.
Each work, drawing or painting, combines attention to detail, a spontaneity of the line, gaiety and brightness of colors to express Annabelle’s emotions without restraint. Her ouvre, unmatched in the urban art scene, brings new energy, sensitivity, and poetry to a current scene still dominated by men.
Born in 1979, Annabelle Tattu graduated from Fine Arts in Metz (DNAP and DNSEP) and a multimedia graphics. She is represented by Joel Knafo Art Gallery, Paris.
